Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM)

The Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM®) certification is offered by The Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM).  For more information about the CFM, applying for the exam, studying for the exam and much more...visit the ASFPM website www.floods.org.

Each year that the annual TN AFPM Conference the CFM exam will be offered.  In order to take the exam, you must complete and submit to ASFPM the application for the CFM Program which is available on the ASFPM website www.floods.org under Certification. The fee for taking the exam is $100 for ASFPM members and $340 for non-members. You may submit application for membership at the same time as applying for the exam, if you are not already a member, to take advantage of this discount.

In order to be considered to take the Certified Floodplain Managers Exam at the conference, you must submit your completed application along with the appropriate fee to ASFPM at least two weeks prior to the date of the exam...though applications can be sumbitted as soon as a test has been scheduled.
